Hi team,

my customer use TUSB320L as CC port control. now they has a issue is that the TUSB320L can't determine port attach, like USB-stick. If reset the TUSB320L and restart, it can work properly.

could you help on it? what's the possible reasons?

for failsafe I/O, when power off, there is no current in/out from IO. if not failsafe, the IO may sink or source current from outside

Hi Brian,

EN_N is connected to GND. The datasheet show it must be held low at least for 50ms after VDD reach to the valid voltage. why need hold EN_N high before power stable?

Hi Brian,

Customer try to read TUSB320LI register and found that the CPU can't communicating the TUSB320LI , and no interrupt. In their application, the EN_N connect to GND, ADDR pull up to VDD and PORT is NC.
It is the second time this issue has occurred, the condition is that plug in analog TYPE-C headphones to listen to music, make the phone call, then hang up, then put three alarm clocks, the last time found that the headphone icon is gone.

do you have some ideas about it? which can effect the I2C communicating?

Hi Brian,

They can't pull the EN_N to high due to this project has been production. the SDA/SDL have been pull up with 4.7k. customer try to read the registers, but failed. can we fix this issue from software?

TUSB320LI also no interrupt signal ,what's the reason?

in the datasheet, the EN_N pin is connect GND directly, and this project will be MP soon, customer can't change hardware. do you have some ideas that can fix this issue from software?
