Lack of ONET8501v Information ...

Hi: I'm trying to decide whether to use the 8501v and ADN2530 VCSEL drivers but I'm at a loss on the lack of meaningful information on the 8501. I can't seem to find its evaluation board anywhere and its datasheet shows eye diagrams w/o context. What's the eye margin? What Vcsel laser was used? What is the recommended layout? Your competitors have all this information in spades. I'd like to use the 8501v but the lack of information on your website or in the engineering press is very puzzling to me. Do you plan to support it for long? Do you recommend it for new designs? What's the deal with the lack of an evaluation boards that shows its optical performance with finisar based 10G vcsels?
