I have noticed that on the ONET8501V chips we have in stock that the temp sensor output measures approximately 1.9 VDC when bit 1 of register 0x09 is set to 0. This should enable the output but In this setting the sensor output does not appear to change with respect to hot and cold temperatures when measured with a digital multi meter. Oddly enough if I set bit 1 of register 0x09 to 1 which should disable the output of sensor, I measure 2.5VDC and the output will change with respect to temperature when measured with a digital multi meter. Can someone explain this behavior?
