Hi,

I received the following question from the customer.

Is any I2C control signal required when the ONET4291VA starts up?

Or can the ONET4291VA work when power is supplied?

(Default value seem to not be mentioned on the datasheet)

Hi Kuramochi-san,

For enabling the modulation current outputs of ONET4291VA, the ENA bit (Bit 7 of Register 0) needs to be set to 1. The default value for this bit is 0, which means the chip will power up in disabled state.
