Hi.

I've been asked about an interface problem. The display data are sending from a 3th party module via DisplayPort or HDMI/DVI. The planned display is 4.3" large but only capable to work with 12 MHz resolution.

Is there a way to convert DP, DVI or HDMI to 8 to 12 Bit RGB parallel data?

Hi Steven,

Your application requires a HDMI receiver (de-serializer) to convert the 3 TMDS Data lanes to RGB parallel data. We do not have such a de-serializer in our product portfolio.

Hi Steven,

Please note TFP401 de-serializes DVI data to the RGB 27 bits and clock and support pixel rate up to 165MHz
