SN65LVCP40 as a two channel LVDS splitter

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65LVCP40

I would like to use the SN65LVCP40 as a two channel LVDS splitter i.e. 2X 1:2 splitter. I don't need all of the chip's capability however. The chip is rated at 880mW but that is with all outputs terminated at 100 Ohms and I assume running at 4Mbs. Since I don't need the LO outputs, I plan to leave them unconnected as well as all the SI inputs. I plan to use the LI_0 inputs to input an LVDS channel, split it, and output two LVDS channels on the SO_0 outputs. i.e. replica outputs each terminated with 100 Ohms. Likewise with the LI_1 input and SO_1 outputs. Is there a problem using this chip this way, and can you tell me the approximate power dissipation in this mode? I'm assuming it must be less than the rated 880mw.
