[ DS90UB92x ] Effect from invalid DE Polarity Setting

Hi,

If DE Polarity is set wrongly, how communication between serializer and deserializer is affected? It's assumetd that the video stream is collapsed, other than this, such as wrong register setting is loaded to deserializer, wrong I2C communication is initiated to downstream devices...can be expected?

This will not affect register values or I2C communication, just video.

Hi Ken,

The timing controller will be expecting a certain polarity of DE. If it receives the opposite, then all of the valid video data will be ignored and the blanking period would be attempted to be displayed.
