[ DS90UB914A ] External 100ohm Termination Resistor For CMLOUTP/N

Hi,

From datasheet and application note, it's assumed that the drawing below is valid probing for CMLOUTP/N of DS90UB914A.

This external 100ohm termination resistor is required, not matter input to DS90UB914A is either Coaxial or STP. Is it correct?

You are correct. The CMLOUT pins can either be treated as differential, with a 100Ohm load across the outputs and a differential probe, or you can supply a 50Ohm load to GND for each output, and use either output single-ended.
