My customer wants to know the answer to the question below

Actually the doubt is:

In the Link: http://www.ti.com/lit/an/snla014/snla014.pdf

It is shown like the R0 bit of TFT is to be mapped with RXOUT27 of the LVDS Receiver DS90CF384AQ.

But in the datasheet ie., in the link : http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/ds90cf384aq-q1.pdf

The R0 is mapped with RXOUT0. and R6 is mapped with RXOUT27.

Which is the exact one?

Hi Shreenidhi,

Are you referring to table 1?

You actually need to double check how the LVCMOS bits are mapped from the source into the serializer and then match the mapping from the deserializer to the display.

There are two mapping usually used where the LSB are mapped on the TxOUT3/RxIN3 or MSB.

I looked at your question again. You should be using the mapping suggested in snla014.pdf.

In the datasheet I believe you are referring to figure 3. "16 Greyscale" Test Pattern which is NOT a recommendation for mapping.

Figure 3 only refers to the pattern/pinout used for testing the greyscale.
