DS90UH927Q-Q1: Can UH927 I2S transmission possible when RxCLKIN+/- is shorted?

We want to use 927&928 to transmit I2S signal only. There is no requirement for Rx signal, So we short RxCLKIN+/-.

Could you please help to confirm is it possible?

what is your application?
You can use external pull-down resistors to ground Rin, thanks.

Hi Steven,

Thank you for the quick feedback.
Sch is attached FYI. Our purpose is to transmit I2S signal, only, via 927 and 928.
Because there is no requirement for video, so we connect +/- pins of Rx pair together with a resistor.
Please check to confirm if it is OK?

If it's only for audio, you may have other solutions such as DS90UA101-Q1 and DS90UA102-Q1.
Maybe more than too much channels...

But we have already had 927/928 design-in. Please kindly help to confirm if we can use 927/928 to transmit I2S signal only? Schematic was attached in previous post.

of course it can transmit i2s through ub927 and ub928 without video input. I had recommended you to deal with the unused input pins.
