Hi,

I have a few basics questions below:

REFCLK/XIN input pin.

- What is max input capacitance?

- Assume VDDIO = 1.8V

REFCLK requirement for Rise & Fall Time

- Customer is considering oscillator device with max of 6ns for Tr/Tf

- What potential concerns are there if the Tr/Tf time is slightly outside the requirement?

If the rise time and fall time is slightly outside our REFCLK recommendations it can affect the system margin in the form of additional jitter. The customer needs to make sure this is not a problem for their system and performance is acceptable for them.
For the other questions it seems like these are captured in our internal support system already, so we can handle the FPD-Link documents offline and not on E2E.

Is there any sort of maximum capacitance spec on the REFCLK/XIN pin?

It should be fine as long as the datasheet specifications for REFCLK are met including the max rise/fall time.
