The SN65LV1224B is being suggested to replace the SN65LV1212 (NRND).

What is the REFCLK tolerance for the SN65LV1224B?

Hi Ue,

It is the exact equivalent of the SN65LV1212 and is also listed in the datasheet.

I mixed-up the part numbers, I am sorry about that.

What I wanted to ask is:

In the DS92LV1212A Datasheet page 5 I find this spec:

fRef REFCLK Frequency 0.95/tRCP tRCP 1.05/tRCP

Indicating a 5% tolerance.

I dont find this information in the DS65LV1224B Datasheet.

Hi Ueli,

The tolerance of REFCLK for SN65LV1224B is +/- 100 ppm. In other words, the supplied clock to REFCLK should be selected to be the equal to the transmission clock frequency (TCLK, which is chosen by the customer between 10 to 66 MHz) with a tolerance of +/-100ppm .
