TCA9548A I2C input drive state?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCA9548A

Hi team,

I have one question about TCA9548A related.

When this device is reset by either POR or RESET pin,  I would like to know the I2C input (SDA/SCL) pin drive state.

Are these pins "High-Z" drive state or open circuit drive state after reset?

Thank you for your kindly help in advance.

  • Hello Tony,

The pins are in a high-z state (high z is equal to open circuit) during POR and RESET.  That means none of the switches are turned one until the POR or RESET has been released.
