PCA9306: Model Issues

Part Number: PCA9306

I have a customer who is trying to use the PCA9306 model and is seeing this error message when he tries to load the model:

Is there a problem with the model? I did not see any issues with this in the forums so I am assuming that the customer is doing something wrong. Do you have any idea what is happening? Can you please check this and verify?

Thanks for your help with this!

  • Hello Richard,
What program are they trying to load it into? Can they give us a copy of the text that describes the errors? The image shows that the information is cut off and to the right.

  • Hello Richard,
You really need to get with the Mentor Graphics/Hyperlynx team to help you figure why the tool is doing and why it is having problems with the models. It is very hard from our side to figure this out.

  • Richard,

FYI, we have encountered this issue related to HyperLynx using the model selector in this IBIS file before - see David's response to this thread for more info:

The best solution would be to solve this with Mentor (as Francis pointed out), but a quick solution to get you up and running would be to modify the model file to only include the voltage level you need.
