Difference between AM26LS32 and AM26LS32A

Hi,

Could you please let me know the difference between AM26LS32 and AM26LS32A ?

AM26LS32 is obsoluted devise and AM26LS32A is replacement device.
I would like to check the difference between both devices.
However, there is no datasheet of AM26LS32 in the web.

    Ryuji-san,

    AM26LS32 was over 20 years ago. I also do not have a data sheet. 
    "A" suffixes generally mean more narrow (better) data sheet specification(s).

    Thank you for the reply.
    I think that obsoleted date is not 20years ago.(for several years?)
    Our customer used AM26LS32 in previous model and there is the description of the bottom of this post in AM26LS32 production folder.
    Thus I recommend AM26LS32A for replacement device to our customer.
    However , AM26LS32A is "NOT an exact equivalent."
    Are there any comparison data or other reference data ?
     

    "Replaced By AM26LS32A – The device has the SAME FUNCTIONALITY and PINOUT as the compared device but is NOT an exact equivalent. Device revision  "

    Ryuji-san,

    I am not certain about the obsolete date. Our internal sheet archive database has no records. Internet searches did not produce a data sheet either. I did notice AM26LS32 from other manufacturers, but I can't say for sure if those spec match TI's obsolete AM126LS32.
