if customer would like to choose RS485 switch ( Dual RS485 signal in, One RS485 signal out) , do we have suggest solution for 2:1 switch for RS485?

Hi Patrick,

There is not an integrated device that achieves this function, so you may be limited to implementing this function with external logic/switches. What is the motivation for this function? Is there a limitation on the number of I/O pins available?

Dear Stiller,

Thanks. It is stage lighting application need to switch control by different RS485 source. Do you have external suggest switch for it? Thank you.

I haven't seen such an implementation before, but the TS5A22366 is a 1:2 mux that may be suitable for switching between the D inputs and R outputs of two RS-485 transceivers.
