Question about failsafe of AM26LV32E

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM26LV32E

Please let me know about AM26LV32E's operation.

①If unused input connect A(Non-inverting)=Vcc and B(Inverting)=GND, what kind of failsafe operation?

(Correct usage is A and B=Open, but customer want to check in the case of wrong connect)

②Is there timing spec of Input:High(or Low) to Output:High, please let me know.

 (please see below)

Best regards,

Satoshi

  • Satoshi san,

    1) Input differential voltage is same as VCC so output will be high. That is a larger than usual input signal but it is valid. Fail safe does not apply here.

    2) Time will be tPLH + 1/2 [Tt] -1/2 * [input Tt]
tPLH is in the data sheet switching characteristics table. Transition (Tt) time is also there.
The AM26LV32E can't control the rise time of the input signal.
