SN65HVDA195-Q1 / current limit

Guru 29690 points

Hi Team,

The datasheet shows Limiting current is 220mA(MAX).
Does it mean LIN pin could sink up to 220mA when applying 40V to LIN pin?

Best Regards,
Yaita / Japan disty

  • Could you tell me the condition of LIN pin voltage to measure "Limiting current(IL)"?

    Best Regards,
    Yaita

  • Yaita,

The current limit applies whenever the device is driving a dominant state and there is an external voltage applied on the LIN pin (assuming that the voltage remains within the absolute maximum limits of the device). In this case, the maximum current that will flow into the LIN pin from the external source will be 220 mA. I hope this is clear; please let me know if you have any questions.

    Best regards,
