MAX3243: EN6100-4-5 protection method

Part Number: MAX3243

Hi,

I will inquire about MAX3243IPWR ESD measures.

As for the question,
1. What is the maximum allowable voltage (withstand voltage) between the
input terminal(RIN) and the power supply(Vcc or GND) of the MAX3243IPWR,
between the input terminal(RIN) and the output terminal(DOUT), and
between the output terminal(DOUT) and the power supply(Vcc or GND)?

2. What is the recommended protection method for surge test
between input terminal and output terminal (Rin terminal and DOUT terminal)?

Background of the question,
In the EMC surge immunity test (EN 6100-4-5), a test to apply an impulse to the above-mentioned question part is performed.

<Impulse voltage specification>
Voltage value : 500 V
Current  : 12.5 A
Rise time : 1.2 μs
Fall time : 50 μs

* Apply impulses with the above specifications in the + direction and - direction.
To protect the voltage level to what level, the question answer contents above are necessary.

best regards
