Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25890H,
I have a TPS2500 powered from a TI BQ25890H charger. The output of that charger without a battery inserted in the system is a square wave from 3.68V to 4.2V. This results in a 400mV "ripple" more like a saw wave coming out of the TPS2500. If I insert the battery the input voltage becomes a steady 4V, however the ripple on the TPS2500 output doesn't disappear, the frequency of the saw wave just increases.
Is there anything I can do on the TPS2500 side to reduce the ripple?
Schematics
Output waveform no battery. If I insert the battery the frequency just increases but it's still a 400mV ripple.
