TXS0206A: disable by EN pin

I have some question about enabling and disabling by EN.

On the datasheet at section 10, it is mentioned as below.

[The outputs are into a high-impedance state when the EN pin is pulled to low.]

However at section 8.4, it is mentioned as below,

[The I/Os will be disable and pulled to Vcca, Vccb through 40kohm.]

Which is it correct? Or Does the high-impedance mean 40kohm?

Hi Koji,

When the EN pin is pulled low, the device is disabled and the outputs are high-impedance. The outputs won't be pulled to VCCx during this disabled state.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

As you mentioned above , the device is disable and the output are high impedance when EN is low. If so, what does the table 1 mean?

At table 1 , it is mentioned the translator I/Os are pulled to Vcca, Vccb through 40kohm when EN is low.

Hi Koji,

I understand where the confusion is coming from with Table 1. Let me double check with the designers and see if there is anything that can be changed/added in the datasheet to help alleviate this issue. Thanks!

Yes. we (our customer and I) am getting confused about Table 1. Please double check with designer.

Hi Koji,

So we will figure out what to do on our end to make sure the datasheet is less confusing. However, for your question the answer remains the same. The outputs will be in a high impedance state isolated from the pull-ups. It won't be pulled high. Thanks!
