At 200MHz, any kind of square TTL looks like sine. but still should i expect a output?

Does it support input upto 200MHZ? If not, is there any existing TI non-inversting buffer that i can use? It could be 1,2 4, or 8 in one package as long as rise & fall time is within few nanoseconds. Thanks

Hi Shailesh ,

Not necessary about the TTL output looking like sine . It depends on the signal generators quality and the internal DACs capacity to pass through all the harmonics intact etc . coming to your query, AHCT1g125 is not rated for 200Mhz but you can look into sn74AUC1G125 which are our fastest logic gates upto 250Mhz .

I tried looking up that part number on Newark, mouser and digikey but i don't think they are available. I think it's not continued part. Do you have anything that is available?

Hi,
I did order and tested TI SN74AUC1G125 at 200MHz. It gives me 2.8V and 7ns(switching speed). I need something around 3.3V(preferably 5V) with less than 1ns switching speed(fall time + rise time) at 200MHz. Do you have anything with those specifications?

Hi Shailesh ,

this is the fastest device in the logic family available I know of . But the rise /fall times is dependent on output loading . If the current load on the output is larger than it can support or has high capacitive load to drive then the Tr tf will be affected greatly.
AHC/ LVC part can be tried to see if it fits your application needs . LVC has higher drive than AUC (up to 32ma ) .
