the TI part SN74LVC1G57 does not provide me with a true 2 input OR gate combination only an OR gate with inverted input so I cannot use this part.

I found the ON SEMI part NC7SZ57 that provides me with all combinations I need: OR, AND, XNOR

what is the TI cross ref for this ON SEMI part ... the TI site says it is the SN74LVC1G57 but it is not correct as this part not give me true OR gate.

anyways another question: can you find me a single part that has dedicated OR, AND, XOR (XNOR also good) in one package and works with VCC of +3.3v and +5.5v

 

  • The SN74LVC1G57 and the NC7SZ57 have identical behaviour. Neither one can implement a true OR gate.

    You find the OR gate in the NC7SZ57 datasheet because that datasheet is shared between the NC7SZ57 and the NC7SZ58.

    For an OR gate, use the SN74LVC1G58 or SN74LVC1G97.
    For an XOR gate, use the SN74LVC1G58.

    The larger SN74LVC1G99 supports all gates.
