Can you share your linker command file and project map file?
Are you using ECC on flash memory? If yes, how do you generate the ECC section for the Flash program?

Yes, I am using ECC on flash memory (or at least trying to).  I generate the ECC as a post build step using nowECC.

I saw in the TMS570 Flash settings in my debug configuration that "Auto ECC Generation" was checked.  If I uncheck the box I do not get the warning, my program runs OK, and I successfully can force an ECC error in RAM and flash.

The 2 options (NowEcc and AutoECC) cannot be used at the same time.

Can you try the following. Don't generate and append ECC using nowecc and check the AutoECC in CCS flash option.
CCS will load your out file (without ECC) and during the download to Flash it will calculate and program ECC. The result will be the same as using nowecc to pre-calculate ECC.

This is the recommended way to proceed. NowEcc is an out of life utility.

Also can you tell me which device you are using?

Using AutoECC instead of nowECC seems to work OK.
