Programming external target with RM46 launchpad

Is it possible to program external RM46 targets using the RM46 launchpad JTAG emulator similar to how you can with the Tiva or MSP430 launchpads? I looked at the schematic and saw that the JTAG pins are broken out to the J1 header, however there are no jumpers to remove the launchpad RM46 target.

    Hi Jordan,

    No, it's not designed for that mode of operation. The 20 pin JTAG header is there in case you want to use a faster emulator like the XDS200 with the RM46 launchpad.

    You might be able to 'hack' this to work, ex. by removing the RM46 silicon and rigging up a cable ... but we certainly didn't plan for that.
    If you need a standalone, low cost emulator, the XDS100v2 is available for a low cost and you can even get the schematics for free & build your own.
