I'm using CCsv4 to debug/load programs into a msp430fg4618 exp board. Has been working fine. I just blew the board, but have another oldie which I'm using as replacement. Don't know what program it has. Exp board controls stepper using N-MOS low-side switches controlled directy by MCU gate inputs connected by wires to the exp. board. Did work nice. With the replacement connected to the system, the system acts funny, and I can't load the (built) program into the exp. board. Question: Why can't I disconnect the exp board from the system, run it (alone) on the optional battery power, and load the program into it via the Jtag? Then, with the program loaded, reconnect everything, and run it on external power?
