MSP430 ADC12 with 2.5V Vref & 2V Vcc supply

Hi,

I am using the ADC12 of the CC430F5137 with 2.5V internal reference. Is it correct that the 2.5Vref would work and only when Vcc is larger than 2.5V? I need to use 2V Vcc.

Unfortunately this MCU doesn’t have an internal boost converter and you need to follow the guide lines written in the Data Sheet (Built-In Reference). With Vref 2.5V recommended Vcc is 3V, minimal 2.8V.

Thanx Leo, I didn't find this recommendation in the datasheet. I'll use the 1.5V Vref in this case.
