Launchpad based BSL method

Hello All,

I am trying to read a block of memory from MSP430g2553 by using BSL method(launchpad) but able to do so.

i am using BSLDEMO.exe and the command "..\Exe\BSLDEMO2.exe -cCOM14 -ppass.txt -1rc000 c00a read.txt +vrw" also i have included the password file, but when i read, the read.txt file is empty.

I am able to write the data successfully but cannot read it.

anyone has any idea about it. Thanks

Hello Sagar,

I am currently trying to involve a BSL expert to comment on your problem and provide a possible solution. In the meantime please review the Creating a Custom Flash-Based Bootstrap Loader (BSL) App Report (SLAA450) to make sure that you are properly following all protocols required for the BSL demo.

Hi Sagar,

Can you try the following command?
BSLDEMO2.exe -cCOM14 -ppass.txt -rC000 A read.txt

I'm not sure why you have the "-1", "+v" and you seem to be trying to read above 0xFFFF area.

Thanks a lot Luis. The above command worked and i am able to read the memory.
