The link suggested above by Ilmars is for FLASH based devices.PK U said:I am using MSP430FR5972. CCS v7.
Given that the MSP430FR5972 is FRAM based, suggest look at MSP430™ FRAM Technology – How To and Best Practices for how to store persistent variables in FRAM.
Thanks Teja Now I can understand most of the thinks clearly. Your code is absolutely right click for me.
Just tell me one more think ?
there are 4 segment in MSP430FR5972 and there locations are :
INFOA : origin = 0x1980, length = 0x0080
INFOB : origin = 0x1900, length = 0x0080
INFOC : origin = 0x1880, length = 0x0080
INFOD : origin = 0x1800, length = 0x0080
so what should be written in main to write and read ? My understanding is
int main(void)
{
FRAMWriteString(0x1980, 'P'); // want to store in segment A.
}
plz comment is it correct or need to write something else, I want to store battery valtage from ADC0 Chanel and timeing from RTC ? also tell me what is data length in FRAMReadSrting function and how can we know what is the data length which is already store in FRAM ?
