OMAP 5432 EVM support

1. Do you have stand alone firmware (No operating system) board support package for OMAP5432 processor-based EVM ?    Operating systems (linux/android/QNX/Green hills INTEGRITY) may be a overhead as our requirement for board usage    is limited to few components like USB 3.0, uSD, UART and JTAG

2. whether uSD interface in the OMAP5432 Processor-based EVM supports SDR104 (UHS-1) ?

3. whether uSD interface in the OMAP5432 Processor-based EVM supports FD-156 (UHS-11) and  HD-312(UHS-11) ?

  • Hello Prabhu,

    - No, there is not a stand alone firmware for OMAP5432EVM. The only available software releases for OMAP5 can be accessed through the link - http://www.ti.com/tool/omap5432-evm-eval-sw

    2. whether uSD interface in the OMAP5432 Processor-based EVM supports SDR104 (UHS-1) ?

    - Yes, OMAP5432 EVM supports SDR104 (UHS-1), because micro SD card connector is connected to MMC1 module. Main features of the MMC/SDIO host controllers are:

    - Dedicated DLL to support SDR104 mode (MMC1 only)

    3. whether uSD interface in the OMAP5432 Processor-based EVM supports FD-156 (UHS-11) and  HD-312(UHS-11) ?

    - No, OMAP5432 doesn't support FD-156 and HD312.

The highest supported speed by MMC1 module is SDR104:

The possible UHS modes are selecting by register MMCHS_AC12[18:16] UHSMS:

    The supported UHS modes are:

    0x0: SDR12
    0x1: SDR25
    0x2: SDR50

    0x3: SDR104
    0x4: DDR50

    Best regards,
