Vision SDK HDMI Capture Mode Issue

we have noticed some of the vision daughter card (new version from spectrum digital) does not have the HDMI SIL chip.  In new versions they used ADV chip.

first, can you please check your vision DC?

BTW, what is the vision SDK version that you use?

SDK only support 1080p60 capture as the EDID binaries shared are for this, So if your DC is support SIL/ADV then use only a 1080p60 video source to feed.

The Duughter Card Version is Rev.C

The board has SIL Chip (u13) and we are using Vision SDK 2.5 .

Would you check the VIDEO CONFIG switch SW3 configuration on your Board?

Your issue might be caused by incorrect settings of this switch. Try to set this switch with combination described in VisionSDK_UserGuide_TDA2xx.pdf.

#Q: The assertion was caused  for retVal = Fvid2_control() function call.

The standard FVID2 interface functions are called from the task file. See captureLink_drv.c file for sample driver file implementation.

Have you observed the following steps:

EDID programming steps
===========================
 
Programs EDID for 1080p-60.
TDA2x: 'edid_programming_tda2x_1080p_60.xa15fg'

TDA2x Execution steps
---------------------
1. Change pins 1 and 2 of SW1 (on vision app board, near CPLD2) to ON.
2. Connect UART cable from board to PC and setup UART for logs (11500 baud).
3. Connect CCS to a15 core and load 'edid_programming_tda2x_1080p_60.xa15fg' binary.
4. Run the core and wait till "EDID programming successfull" message comes on UART.
5. Before Running Vision SDK binaries, change pins 1 and 2 of SW1 to OFF (towards numbers 1 and 2).

Check your HDMI clock configuration.
