TLV62085: Switching freq & Iout

Part Number: TLV62085

Hi,

Could you please give me advice for below questions?

1. Switching Freq is decreasing from 300mA load in Vin = 2.5V as below information. Is there idea why switching freq is decreasing in only Vin = 2.5V?

2.  The calculation for fPFM uses Iout. I guess VOS read Iout. If my understanding is correct, could you please let me know how to get Iout with VOS? (Is there internal current sense?)

Regards,
Nagata.

  • Hi Nagata,

I will check on the switching frequency and get back to you.
I guess you are talking about equation 1 but I am not sure I understood your question properly. Iout is the load you apply on output of the device it is the operating condition you choose to operate the device for. If the DCDC converter is connected to another system you could measure the Iout with a current probe and use the value for your calculation.

What is the end application ? what are your operating conditions?

    Thanks,
    Sabrina
  • Hi, Sabrina,

Thank you for your supports. I just want to know the mechanisum how to read the output current. Does the silicon get the output current? If yes, could you please let me know the mechanisum?

And I don't want to share detail infomation for end application. Can you discuss it directly? Below is my e-mail address

  • Hi Nagata,

    I contacted you through mail.
Regarding your first question, a 1uH inductor is used for the measurement on Fig 1.

For Vin=2.5V, I expect to see less variation (similar to Vin=3.6V and Vin=6V) with a 0.47uH inductor.
