Yang san,
Thank you for your reply.
Of course, we are sure that there is no problem about LM46001 with inverting and Non-inverting.
Our customer referred to your reference design.(www.ti.com/.../snva722b.pdf)
Based on it, we guess that the this preoblem is concerned with ground layout.
As our request, if the ±0.6V is added to LM46001’s SW pin, can't the LM46001 operate?
We need only this reply.
We need your help.
Kind regards,
Hirotaka Matsumoto
Hello,
What is the load that the two LM46001 are driving? It could be that because of the common load when one rail comes up it tries to pull the other one up. The biger issue could be that the inductor current could keep increasing and cause problems. You could try connecting schottky diodes at the output. These would be an alternative to the MOSFET's body diode.
We can review your layout if you'd like to.
Regards,
Akshay
Yang san,
Thank you for your reply and your cooperation always.
What is the purpose of adding ±0.6V to the SW pin?
->At the first, our customer and we don't intend to add ±0.6V to the SW pin.
However, according to DCDC converter operating, ±0.6V is added to the SW pin.
So, we think it's concerned with ground layout.
And, the customer's layout drawing is confidential content, so we would like to send this data directly.
Could you let us know your E-mail address?

Thank you for your reply always.
Please refer to the following file.

Originally, although inverting DCDC the SW increases +0.6V after immediately start up.
We think it cause of the problem.(Layout or something)
So, if you have some advice, could you let us know?
