Part Number: TMS320C6657
I am trying to set up the UPP between TMS320F28379D and TMS320C6657. How do I configure the GPIOs for the physical connection between the two.
The TMS320C6657 device has a uPP interface, why do you need GPIOs for the UPP connection? Or are you asking for the configuration of TMS320F28379D device? Best Regards, Yordan

I already configured the GPIOs for the TMS320F28379D using the document "spruhm8h.pdf". Now I want to configure the GPIOs/uPP interface for the c6657. How can I configure the uPP interface for c6657?
Also, where do I get information like starting address and ending addresses for tx and rx of the uPP DMA for the c6657?

Unfortunately there isn't an uPP driver, so you will have to crate one yourself using the uPP user guide:
See Section 2.6 Initialization and Operation of the document.
