TDA4VM: "MAC to MAC" application reference

Hi, expert:

There are two SOC's on my customer's board: TDA4VM and another SOC.

Customer wants to use MAC-to-MAC connection between these two SOCs for high speed communications.

current idea: one RGMII port of CPSW9G connect to the RGMII port of the other SOC, without going through the Ethernet PHY.

This will save the PHY cost.

Is there any information we can share regarding this kind of application?

• hardware connection?
• clock consideration?
• software implementation?
