IWR1443BOOST: Any software command to substitute NRST switch reset?

Hello,

I am running the capture demo on IWR1443BOOST with SDK MMWAVE_SDK_01_01_00_02. I can trigger the capture through terminal, connect the board via CCS, save gDataCube to a file, and see the ADC and range data via capture_demo.m file in MATLAB. However, when I need to trigger the capture again (after disconnecting from CCS), I need to reset the board via pressing the NRST switch; otherwise, the next trigger gives 'Error -1".

Is there any way to use a software command as a substitute for the NRST hardware switch pressing?

Please try a warm reset as described in the following thread to see if it accomplishes what you are looking for.

Thanks, John. Is there any command to send the warm reset to the board? The thread does not mention that.

Hi Sanjib,

No, the mmWave demos do not include code to perform this reset. You would need to modify the demo code and add a new CLI command to trigger it if desired.
