TSU6111 : I2C instead of UART

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TSU6111

Dear Support team,

Can RxD and TxD ports of TSU6111 support bidirectional I2C instead of UART?

Best regards,

Hiro Takahashi

  • Takahashi-san,

Yes the RxD and TxD paths are bidirectional passive FET switches.  They can be used for a variety of applications including <920 MHz like I2C, UART, and USB 2.0.

This post will also talk about how to implement I2C switch with a passive FET switch.
