Hi Mitul,
Do you know why Vcc goes up again? Is it due to Vback or system?
Datasheet requests a 1µF decoupling at Vcc pin, I don't know the reason for that but could you try if this can resolve your problem?
Hi Bruce,
Thanks for your found. R10 is one current limiting resistor, after i removed it. Now I got the correct value as follows. However, after each 1s delay loop, the second register of BQ32002 is still the same value 12, not any change or move forward…
Part Number: AM625 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ32002 , BQ32000 Tool/software: Hi Ti team,
We are working on a custom board and we have used the BQ32002 RTC module which is based on i2c.
Can you suggest if any driver available for this module and…
Part Number: BQ32002 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ32000 , Tool/software: The BQ32002 (and BQ32000) has separate registers for parts of date and time, all which can be read and written separately over I2C.
But if separate I2C accesses are made, and the…
Part Number: BQ32002 Tool/software: hi Team,
do we have something lower power in backup case? More in the range of 60-80nA vs. our 0.9 to 1.5 uA.

Part Number: BQ32002 Tool/software: Hi Clocking Team,
I have a query regarding RTC crystal load capacitance requirement for BQ32002.
I found that there is a need to have a load capacitors.
However, in the application design and also in the layout…
Part Number: BQ32002 Hello team,
My customer is wondering how can they adjust the frequency of crystal?
Customer usually use external capacitors to adjust the frequency. Is it via CAL_CFG1 register?
If frequency is adjusted by CAL_CFG1 register, can they…
Part Number: BQ32002 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ32000 Hi Team,
Since BQ32002 doesn't have built-in trickle charger, do you have external charger circuit example and guideline for BQ32002?

Charles
Part Number: BQ32002 Hi Team,
My customer are asking for a solution for effectively increasing the hold up time without using supercapacitors (as company policy advises against capacitors with electrolytes) and batteries, are there any other solutions…
