Hi Mark,
TI has ESD2CAN24-Q1 designed specifically for CAN application, that's usually we would recommend to use in a 12V system. There is also ESD2CAN36-Q1 for 24V system.

I would expect ESD2CAN24-Q1 works well on TCAN3413, due to the ±58V fault protection just like most of TI's 5V CAN transceivers.
