Part Number: SN65HVD3080E To Whom It may concern
I think the current version is F, but please send me the E version.
Since the characteristics graph of P7 has been changed, I would like to confirm what has been changed.
Best regards

Hi Muk,
Should they use 0.13UL that is higher one?
SN65HVD3080E features a 1/8 Unit-Load allowing 256 Nodes per Bus
SN65HVD3080E don't need the Fail safe circuit like as application note
This device uses internal failsafe biasing to keep the receiver…

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65HVD3080E , SN65HVD485E , ISO7341C , ISO3082 , ISO3080 Hello,
Can we use SN65HVD3080E and SN65HVD485E with the photocoupler?
They using the photocoupler to D,DE,RE,R pins. Signal rate:19.8kbps~100kbps Photocoupler…
Hello, We consider pullup to 5V the DE pin and pulldown to GND the /RE pin via 10kohm. Are there any reccomendation resistor value for pullup and pulldown? I think that there is no problem, but please let me know the reccomendation value if there is.…
Dhaval,
SN75179B is quite capable to meet your requirements. The 1k/u price is very good.
I was going to recommend a slower device to reduce EMI and power. (higher 1k/u price)

Hi,
According to the datasheet see Absolute Maximum Ratings for SN65LBC180 ESD HBM 4kV. For SN65LBC176 as it doesn't mention in datasheet directly I guess it should be about 2kV.
Thus if you are looking for additional ESD protection please look at…
Erwan,
I'm sorry for the late response. I was still on vacation.
The device I suggest is the SN65HVD3080 (see data sheet attached).
more modern design providing less power consumption and a more robust design.
let me know how it goes.

Hi Kaji,
a good way to understand this is to look at the topic like that: The fail safe resistor network gives you the additional safety feature, but it R1 (equivalent to R_FS) is constantly causing a current flow which is seen as load for the bus.…
