    Cris , Consider using Sn74AVCAH164245 or SN74AVCBH164245 which has the dynamic output impedance control circuitry (DOC) in them providing high drive with low impedance initially and high impedance later to reduce switching noise and overshoots.

    Hi, You can use the SN74AVCB164245 , it doesn't have series resistor but it has output impedance dinamic control (DOC). You can read about DOC here: http://www.ti.com/lit/an/scea009b/scea009b.pdf If you need bus hold, there is also a SN74AVCBH164245…
