Hi Eric-san,
Thank you for your quick answer.
In that case, I am intereseted in TPD6E05U06 because it is cheaper, however it doesn't have short to VBUS protection.
What will happen if TPD6E05U06 is shorted to VBUS 20V, will it overheat?

Part Number: TPD6E05U06 Hi,
Just want to double check that the TPD6E05U06RVZR should work fine for USB2.0. The datasheet calls out USB3.0 but makes no mention of USB2.0.
Thanks,

I need a suggestion for a 6 channel ESD part. The TPD6E05U06 would have worked great but it cant handle the USB3.1 datarate.
Do you have any suggestions for USB3.1? We have a dual…
Hi Jimmy,
The best solution would be to use two TPD6E05U06 (6-ch) and a TPD4E05U06. We have one 8-ch device that can be used for ethernet, TP8S009, however it won't meet the 15kV air gap requirement.

Sebastian
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPD6E05U06 Hi Expert,
TPD6E05U06 can support high speed interface, whether it can be used for Ethernet 100M ESD?
Thanks.

Hi Everyone,
The input pin has polarity like D1+/D1-, but I think that it's OK to connect different polarity of connector like attached. Is my understanding correct? I think rooting on PCB should be prior.
