Just a thought. Please verify the part number of the device with the incorrect output voltage. TPS84620 has an internal 0.8V reference, while the TPS84621 has an internal reference of 0.6V. This would explain why the output voltage is 2.5V. Both parts…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS84621 , TPS84620 Hello,
Can the TPS84620 or the TPS84621 operate in current sharing mode like the LMZ2xxxx series?
Thanks
Hi Jimmy,
Please note that the TPS84621 has a wider output voltage range, down to 0.6V. This is fully released and is completely pin-to-pin compatible with the TPS84620, and the same height dimensions.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS84259 , TPS84A20 , TPS84621 , THS4601 Hello,
I would like to measure Transient Load Responce under condition.
<Conditions>
Use TPS84259EVM
Vin:15V
Vout:-3.3V
Iout: 0.1A --->2A
di/dt : 5A/us
I configured output…
Have you considered connecting a DAC to the bottom part of the R2 resistor and set the VDAC voltage to get the desired VOUT. Using the VDAC you can get really good resolution on VOUT even <1mV.
I had used this approach on TPS84621 to set the VOUT from…
The designer needs to take into accout the RON of the FET switch which can introduce some errors in setting VOUT.
For changing the VOUT I would use a DAC: connect it to the bottom of the R2 resistor and set my DAC voltage to control my VOUT. I have used…
Ramgopal,
Your assessment of the bulk decoupling required is correct. You must calculate the required amount and validate it. The Hardware Design Guide (SPRABI2) discusses this calculation.
This bulk capacitance will affect the control loop on the power…
SI,
Please see the attached presentation. It was originally prepared for the LM10010 which was later superceded by the LM10011 which has higher precision. Please also see the many E2E posts discussing the LM10011 and TPS56121 with C667x and C665x.
