Hello Hon-Choong,
Unfortunately I have no more information than what the VFC320 datasheet provides, but your assessment of the comparator A needing to detect a logic 1, before comparator B triggers strikes me as correct. The speed of the internal comparators…
Part Number: VFC320 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA197 Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools HOW does the circuit in VFC 320, fig. 14, VFC operate with bipolar input, how is the feed back on the negative cycle.
Part Number: VFC320 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: VFC32 , , LM331 Hi,
I'm interested into use VCF320 as Fast-settling FVC.
In my application I've a square wave signal with an input frequency ranging from 1.3KHz to 4.8KHz, coming form a magnetic pick…
Part Number: VFC320 Page 2 (f/V-Converter): Rated Voltage: +-15V, Range +-13V to +-20V
Page 3 (Absolute Maximum Ratings): Supply Voltage +-20V and now comes the confusing part for me: -Input … +- Vcc and +Input … +- Vcc
I hope this means…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: VFC320 Hi, I'm interested to purchase this product but I have the following questions about it.
1)What's the input range of current and can it be as low as 1 nA?
2)Can we set a threshold voltage so after that it…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: VFC320 Hi,
I am planning to use VFC320 as FVC. The input frequency is up to 1 MHz. So I would like to know if i am giving the FVC output to an ADC then what is the minimum sampling rate required?
Also I would like to know…
Hello Gabriel,
Unfortunately, the LM331 is not useable at 1 MHz. If there is some flexibility in term of supply voltage - higher voltage in this case, the VFC320 has a typical top end frequency of 1 MHz. Here's a link to the datasheet:

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: VFC320 Dear Bruce Trump,
We are using VFC 320 in our application for the range of 0 to 10 V input output of 0 to 100 KHz.
The circuit was calibrated in the room temperature (24 ° C) and tested for more than one week in…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: VFC320 Hello,
my customer ask if we have frequency to voltage converters. They have a test &measurement application with an input of 4MHz to 11 MHz input frequency and they want to convert it to a pulse signal with 500Hz…
Hi Rock,
The following link is the VFC320 part that published in 2001, which it may be used as a reference.
