I'm in charge in OpenBMC FW development from inventec company.

We use inv220B for fan power/current/voltage monitor.

and need TI confirm/review the inventec's implemented/progress. (see attachment files.)

    Hello James,

    This looks fine and I am glad they confirmed with the EVM as that brings more confidence.  The max current by my calculation will be about 42.5A.  If you can give up more power to increase the Rshunt to get a larger signal this would help but not required.  Also there is no mention on the lowest value needed to be measured.  If you would like to look at the error curve for the INA220 please look at the INA220 product page and scroll down to the error analysis tool.  If you require more accuracy we have newer devices like the INA237 that could work.   VOS will be the dominate error source at lower inputs.
