I downloaded INA188 TINA-TI Reference Design, and made some modification as attached.
if the V2 is less than -2V, the file works fine, I am going to use it in a single power circuit, so I try to make it 0V. but the simulation has convergence problem.
another question is the Ref voltage, if I change it to 0, then the simulation has convergence problem.
is it normal that the voltage setup will affect the simulation, but in the real work it works fine?
Hi David,
For a single supply rail, you need to take into consideration of input Vcm mode.
If you are interested the tool, you may download it in the link below.
https://www.ti.com/tool/ANALOG-ENGINEER-CALC
With simulation, I configured Vcm = 4Vdc, differential input voltage is 200mV, Gain = 2V/V and Vref= 1.0V, where the INA188's output voltage is 2*0.2V + 1.0 = 1.40V
If you have additional questions, please let us know.
Best,
Raymond
