Hi Team,
I want to run ISO224 simulation in Pspice for TI. Because there is no Pspice for TI model for ISO224, I've got cir. file from TINA-TI model.(referring this video teaching us how to transfer TINA-TI model to generic spice model)
But I don't know how to use cir. file to simulate ISO224 in Pspice for TI after looking up some threads. Could you help advise?
Here's the background of this request.
My customer tried to simulate ISO224 in LTspice(only available simulator on customer's side) by using cir. file exported from TINA-TI model. Customer is facing the same error as this e2e thread.
I understood TI can't use LTspice to support ISO224. But customer is thinking that this error should happen to all spice-based simulator but not only LTspice.
So I want to try simulation in Pspice for TI by my own to see if this issue also happens in Pspice for TI, but I still don't know how exactly to do it.
Thanks.
Regards,
Jo
Hi Jo,
You will need a .lib and a .olb file to generate a part in Pspice for TI. This video describes how to import a model into Pspice for TI: https://training.ti.com/pspice-ti-3rd-party-model-import?context=1146489-1146488-1146482
The .lib file is the same as the .cir file. It's just a text file of the netlist, so you can just make a new file or change the file extension on your .cir file.

Scott
Hi Scott,
Thank you for the advice. I was able to generate the part. I'm encountering error when I try to do AC analysis. I'll open another new thread to ask for help.
Thanks.

Jo
