Is there a product like PGA281 that can accept input signals of130Khz as well?
We need a high-precision instrumentation amplifier, for very low input signals.
The secondary requirement is a Programmable Gain Instrumentation Amplifier.
We need first its EVM board.
Hi Shai,
Unfortunately, there is no immediate single IC solution similar to the precision PGA281 for a fully-differential output precision Programmable Gain Amplifier with a higher 130-kHz bandwidth. As you have mentioned, the PGA281 bandwidth is limited at the higher gains or at the lower attenuation settings. The small-signal gain vs frequency plot is shown on Figure 16, p9 of the PGA281 datasheet, where the flat region of the frequency response is limited to about ~20-kHz (or ~15-kHz at the higher gain settings conservative).
The PGA206 and PGA207 are high impedance FET input, precision programable gain amplifier with single-ended output offering a bandwidth of 600-kHz. The PGA206 offers gains 1, 2, 4, 8V/V and the PGA207 offers gains of 1, 2, 5, 10 V/V. If a fully-differential output is required, these could be followed by a precision fully-differential amplifier such as the THP210 to further gain the signal and perform the single-ended to differential conversion. However, immediately, there is no newer single IC device with fully-differential output similar to the PGA281 with higher bandwidth.
Thank you and Regards,
Luis
