OPA2316: OPA2316SIRUGR p2p alternative options

Part Number: OPA2316
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV9152, TLV6742, OPA2375, THP210, , OPA2388

Hi team,

Could you give me p2p alternative options for OPA2316SIRUGR? TLV9152 is p2p option, but the shutdown logic is opposite. Does TI have any other options?

Best regards,

Takeshi Sasaki

  • Well doing an industrywide search did not yield very much, but here are some options,

  • Hello Sasaki-san,

I suggest OPA2375 and TLV6742, these are in stock p2p alternatives with corresponding shutdown logic.
Here is the comparison table and stock as of 4/18/2022:

    Part Number Stock 1ku

    OPA2316SIRUGR

    0

    1ku | $0.617

    TLV6742SIRUGR

    2990 1ku | $0.485

    OPA2375SIRUGR

    1728 1ku | $0.670

Also note that the TLV9152 has opposing shutdown logic but the shutdown pins for the TLV9152 can be left floating (if unused in the application).

    All the best,
    Carolina

  • Hey Caro, well this discusson got me thinking I should go back and update my <50MHz parametric databases - had not done that since 2015 so, yes, there is a lot of new offering from TI and need to capture. Many odd little things in the descriptions (datasheet titles) but, without getting too mired in all those obfuscations, this one is probably in need of attention - this is an audio version of the THP210 FDA - It does say Fully Differential in the name, but at the end Op Amp is misleading, probably should be "amplifier" for a net "High Fidelity, Low Noise, Fully Differential Burr Brown Audio Amplifier" (Yes, I find hyphenation annoying). Technically speaking, it is a "VFA op amp", but in diferential form with a CM loop to make it a Fully Differential type. But the Operational Amplifier at the end really invokes the diff in to single out world which is much larger.

  • And, I think I finished scanning the TI product trees for post 2015 <50MHz Introductions - omg, this is quite impressive, lot of work here to fill in the parametric fields, but this is the list I came up with the slightly modified descriptions - this has to fit into industrywide descriptions so needs to be a little more consistent and descriptive, no one else is quite as extravagent with hyphenation. I do wonder what all those hyphenated run on descriptive terms will do in keyword searches.

  • Hello Takeshi,

Well I did finish adding the post 2015 releases for TI sub 50MHz devices, need to go to do the same for ADI but not started yet, here is that result where the red part numbers were added showing new options matching the OPA2316 pretty close. The 1st 2 are listed in datasheets, but not released yet,

oops, slight mistake I will change in the database, the OPA2388 is 2.4mA Iq/ch max. Or 2400uQ
