Thanks Kai for the links for paralleling op amps to boost the output current.
I normally do not like to use the method to boost the op amp's current. Could you share the design requirements with us for the adjustable power supply? Perhaps there are other alternatives from the approach. The reasons are described by Thom's replied post, but it can be done.
For instance, you may use OPA521 to design an adjustable power supply. You may use BJT or MOSFET to boost an output current from OPA564. We need to know the power supply's operating voltage and current range, BW, response time, load type (R, L, C or complex load), source and sink current requirements, load regulations etc.. Please let us know.
